Setup guides will get admins up and running with some of the most popular EMM features available today, including Apples Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Android Enterprise.
Play Store for Work
In the Android for Work setup, applications are managed through two different platforms MaaS360 and the Play Store for Work. The latter can be accessed at https://play.google.com/work. For Accounts Enterprise clients, the gmail address used to create the integration will be the admin for this. For Google Accounts integration, any Google Admin can access the site.
The first thing admins will notice is that while all apps are available in the Work store, the homepage features enterprise oriented apps.
Applications are selected and approved by the admin. Users can not install non-approved apps in the work profile. They will not even appear in the Play Store in the work profile. **Note that apps in the store are blanket approved for the entire organization**
Admins can also view apps already approved and apps that have updated terms that need to be approved
Admins can now also pre-purchase licenses for their users in the Play Store for Work
Once the apps have been approved by the admin, it's time to open the MaaS360 portal for distribution.
