MaaS360 Android Enterprise App Management
Once the Play Store for Work has been configured, admins are ready to distribute applications. The workflow is very similar in form and function to regular MDM application management. The differentiators are that the MaaS360 App Catalog can contain apps not approved for the work profile, but the Play Store will not. It also means that there is now an "Instant Install" capability for Android devices, no user interaction needed.
To begin, navigate to the App Catalog and choose to add a Google Play App. Select the Android Enterprise option (note: The app will only be added to the catalog once. If the app searching for approval is already in the catalog, see the steps further down on accepting permissions).
Instant Install will deliver the app to the device, no user interaction required **Note: This has no function outside of Android for Work devices**
Applications added without the terms being accepted (or with outdated terms that need to be acknowledged) will appear with a "!" next to them on the main page
