How do I register for the Security Learning Academy?
What should I do if I get an account verification warning or error?
If you receive a message that your account has not been verified or that your special permissions will expire, check for an email from noreply@www.securitylearningacademy.com and follow the instructions. You will be given a validation code and link to enter the code. After you enter the code, you can view any specialized content that you have access to.
If your email address is not your IBM ID, then your account cannot be verified. Your account will remain active with guest permissions. You can still enroll in courses and track your progress. However, if you have access to special content, that content will no longer be available to you because the email is sent to only the email address that is used as your IBM ID.
If you did not receive the email, don't worry, your account will remain active. However, you will not be able to access any special content. Check your email and spam folder for the note from noreply@www.securitylearningacademy.com. If you checked your spam folder and you cannot find the validation code, or it fails, send Learning Services a note from your IBMid email by using the Email Learning Services link, which is in the footer of this page. In the note, make a request to validate and reset your account permissions. If you submit your request by email, resetting your account permissions can take up to 5 business days.
